I am so unhappy today after receiving this email from the Volunteer Committee.
I am sorry, I have no more volunteer positions for test events at this time. However, this does not eliminate your chance to participate in the games. I will be scheduling for the games later this year and will keep you on all the rosters. Thank you for your interest in volunteering.

Today is a great day! I received a phone call from the Volunteer Committee asking me if I would like to work the Curling Event in the Merchandising Area. Of course I said YES. I will be selling souveniers to those attending the event on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, March 17-19. So instead of being in the back room, I will be right out front greeting and meeting athletes, judges and the general public.

Working this event has been wonderful and exciting. I've met athletes, judges, and folks from all over the world. Let see how many countries I can remember...Canada, France, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and Norway.
