I attended my training last night down in Salt Lake City. I meet people that will be working at some of the other venues. The training was technical on what type of system the application runs on and on the application. I won't bore all my non-geek friends with any details!
My other news is that I will been hosting a house guest during the Olympics. My guest will be an Olympic and Paraolympic volunteer from England. Her name is Jakie, she is 39 and has just graduated from the university. She is spending a year traveling before settling down to a permanent job. She is still awaiting her job assignment for the Olympics, as she had to have housing her and provide an local address before they will assign her. I think it will be interesting and fun to meet her and get to know her during her 6 week stay here in Utah.
